Man sitting in hot springs.
Today was so relaxing! Ed and I slept in, of course, then headed to downtown Pagosa Springs for great coffee and breakfast treats at a local cafe. After that, we strolled around town, checking out the shops.

Oh, we also first stopped at the post office to pick up a box I’d mailed to myself. The line was almost out the door, but moved efficiently.

Later in the day, we went back to the post office to mail more things home and/or ahead. Once again, there was a long line. After that, we went to Nathan’s Hippie Dip Hot Spring.

As you maybe inferred from the town’s name, there are hot springs here and lots of Motel in Colorado.resorts based upon them. But you can also dip in these free hot springs in a public park. So Ed and I did that. We only dipped in a little, as they were pretty hot.

We decided it was most convenient to eat again at the Motel SOCO, so that’s what we did. Great day!
