Trail through woods.
Today was a great day, hiking to Wolf Creek Pass! First, I only had about 4 miles (6.4 km) to get to the trailhead, and it was mostly downhill (although steep and rocky at points).

When I arrived, trail angel Cynthia picked me up. I was hoping she’d drop me off at the laundromat in Pagosa Springs, which is a mile or two (2-3 km) from the SOCO Motel, where we’d be staying. Instead, she invited me to her home to shower and do laundry. After that, she dropped me off at the motel. So kind!

I spent the afternoon folding laundry and catching up on email and the news. Ed arrived Trail through the mountains.via another trail angel, Rusty, near the end of the day. I’d already enjoyed a beer at the motel’s restaurant!

Relaxing Day

Since Ed had been traveling all day, we both settled into the motel and had dinner at the restaurant. Excited for the next few days!
